LG Aims for 50-Inch OLED TVs by 2012
Samsung has told us that they have a next-gen OLED factory under construction, and now LG follows in their footsteps and announce similar plans. The new factory will be capable of producing up to 50-inch OLED TVs already in 2012. It seems that things are moving on the OLED front.

LG’s vice president says it will initially build three production lines, and the intention is that two of these production lines will be used for OLED panel production for handhelds such as smartphones. The last, however, will be dedicated to the production of OLED TVs. This could mean that TVs up to 50 inches based on this new technology starts to pop out of the factory right from the start.
The vice president also adds that LG does not intend to become a leader in OLEDs for handheld devices because it’s already well behind Samsung in that department. Instead, LG plans to become the leading manufacturer of OLED TVs. LG believes that OLED-based TVs can be fully competitive with LCD TVs in 2014.

Fantastica TV! Merece destaque a resistencia da tela a impacto e fricção, arranhões etc., quase indestrutível, impenetrável por objetos até os pontiagudos.
